BEVERLY HILLS WATER QUALITY PUBLIC ADVISORY NOTICE
In compliance with the Environmental Protection Agency and Michigan Department of Environmental Quality regulations, Beverly Hills conducts tests of drinking water at various residential locations to check for lead and copper contamination in the water supply. These tests are conducted every three years, most recently in August and September of 2017. To read more click here.

VILLAGE COUNCIL MEETING TO REVIEW WATER RATES

HOUSEHOLD HAZARDOUS WASTE
Residents can drop off household hazardous waste at SOCRRA's Materials Recovery Facility (MRF) located at 995 Coolidge, Troy. Hours of operation are Mon - Fri 8:00 am to 3:30 pm and Saturday 8:00 am to 2:00 pm. Extended hours are available on Wednesday until 5:30 pm. Visit SOCRRA's website for more information.

DISPOSING OF CFLS
Need to dispose of used Compact Fluorescent Light Blubs (CFLs)? Don't throw them in the trash. Call the SOCRRA HHW appointment line at 248-288-5153. Morning or afternoon appointments (3 hour time block) can be scheduled. Make the trip worthwhile! Check around your home to see if you have any old paint, pesticides, outdated medicines, insulin syringes, gas, oil, etc. and bring them in during the same appointment. USED CELL PHONE COLLECTION
The Township of Southfield is accepting used cell phones which will be sent to Secure The Call Foundation a non-profit organization that refurbishes cell phones for 911 emergency calls. The Township's address is 18550 W 13 Mile Road and their phone number is (248) 540-3420.
